I STILL REMEMBER THIS GRAND AND WONDERFUL LADY PRETTY MUCH DAILY ... SHE WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON IN MY HEART TIL DEATH DO I ALSO PART ... THE SAME WAY I FEEL ABOUT MY OWN MOTHER... I ALWAYS REMEMBER AN OLD IRISH BLESSING BECAUSE OF THEIR SPECIAL PLACES IN MY HEART ... IT GOES LIKE THIS :

MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET YOU ,
MAY THE WIND ALWAYS BE AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS

AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
MAY GOD HOLD YOU
IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND....

FOREVER YOUNG
(Continued)

She could spot talent and tell you who was very good
Morrison, Dylan, Hendrix, and Steve Winwood
Don't forget Joe Cocker, THE BEST SINGER OF ALL
She wrote Joe a letter that moved him so much, he personally gave her a call

A letter to the President one day she did send
Clinton replied with a letter and a photo signed your friend

In conversation or in letters you'd find
Pearls of wisdom or just a witty line

To have such a Mother is a blessing you see
Forever we will cherish and honor her memory...

Kathleen McGuinness
1929-2015
FOREVER YOUNG
In the mystic land of Leprechauns, Music, and Dance
From a mansion in Lucan called Ardeen
Travel to Knock and then to Lourdes, France
This young Irish beauty was named Kathleen
As a volunteer nurse, off to England she'd go
Then back to her man in Ireland for their wedding day
The young family is starting to grow
And soon on a plane to the U.S. of A.
But her heart wouldn't stray from the Emerald Isle
Taught her children of Leprechauns and the Banshee
Joyce, Shaw, and Oscar Wilde
She's an artist at heart and care free
On a piano she plays she plays a lullaby soothing and mild
Act in a play, design a dress, write stories, recite poetry
Our inheritance is greater than money you see
Tis the gift of gab and a dash of creativity
Just look around any salesman or artist in the family
Never low class, never heard her tell a lie
Never even curse ,for her class was too high
She raised seven kids, then back to school to earn a degree
Acting in a play and studying geometry
Filling you in on the government and American history
She then became a U.S. citizen you see
2nd page to follow

What can I say about Kathleen McGuinness ?? So many great things. So sorry to the family that she has passed away and as they say "She is probably in a better place".She raised her family of 6 sons and finally a daughter as the last of the children born in 1969 to Her and Frank.I remember running into Frank and a few of the boys at the McDonald's near our house the day Maureen was born The excitement in their faces of finally having a daughter and a little sister is something I will never forget. Kathleen is now with all of the rest of the saintly souls who proceeded her in passing. She will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends she made along the way. She was and always will be remembered by many as an Emerald from an Emerald Isle. For over 50 years I had the pleasure of knowing this Fine and Wonderful lady she was like a second mother to me during my formative growing up years and I learned quite a few valuable life lessons from her in the process of knowing her....Thank You Kathleen ...She was adored by my own mother Rose as they were great friends through the years both in joyous and sad times .Kathleen and Frank drove the 200 miles up the coast in 1993 from Los Angeles to Santa Maria just to see my mother one last time while my mother was taking her last breaths of life ..They just missed seeing her as my mom passed away about an hour before they arrived . One of my fondest memories of Kathleen was going over to the house looking for one of the boys about 1972 and her greeting me at the door and saying to sit down as she put a Joe Cocker record on the stereo and her saying " Isn't this guy Joe Cocker GREAT "... And her dancing up a storm to it ..A great and so Cool memory of her, indeed it is ...I will close out this memory book message with a quote from 19th century writer Joseph Pine who said :
"What we do for ourselves will perish with us,
What we do for others and the world
remains and is Immortal".

We have many Happy Memories of our Dear Aunt Kathleen. She was a wonderful clever witty lady. She could talk for hours. She introduced us to Joe Cocker.
I can imagine her sitting now having a chat and a cup of tea with Maure and Olive who were waiting for her.

Rest in peace Kathleen
